Day By Day
Day 1 – Arrive in Lusaka
You will be flying into Lusaka from Dubai where you will connect on a flight to Mfuwe. From Mfuwe Airport, you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to your accommodation.
Chinzombo Camp
This wildly luxurious camp retains its bush feel with grass and canvas walls and spacious living areas that melt into exquisite, tranquil surroundings. Chinzombo won Best New Property in Africa in 2014 and again in 2015. Gigantic, ancient shade trees offer peace and serenity for guests staying in any one of the six stunning villas. This truly special place offers riverside views teeming with wildlife and direct access into one of the most game rich areas of the National Park.
Luxurious yet also elegantly natural, Chinzombo Camp is tucked into the shade of ancient trees on a bend of the Luangwa River. Six beautiful villas combine a modern architectural feel with natural materials such as leather, reeds and canvas. Each beautifully situated villa boasts its own private plunge pool and is situated on an elevated deck that boasts views of the tranquil river. Bedrooms open out onto shaded decks, while each villa also has a yoga and exercise area.

Day 2 – Activities at Chinzombo
Enjoy your days at Chinzombo which offers game drives and some walking safaris.
Experience the thrill of being totally immersed in true wilderness in the South Luangwa National Park, rich with leopard, lion and elephant. Be bold dine alfresco under the glittering African night sky accompanied by the sound of whooping hyenas and roaring lions.
Experts have dubbed South Luangwa to be one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, and not without reason. The concentration of animals around the Luangwa River, and its oxbow lagoons, is among the most intense in Africa. The Luangwa River is the most intact major river system in Africa and is the life-blood of this park. The Park hosts a wide variety of wildlife, birds and vegetation. The changing seasons add to the Park's richness, ranging from; dry, bare bush veld in the winter, to a lush, green wonderland in the summer months. There are 60 different animal species and over 400 different bird species in South Luangwa National Park. The only notable exception is the rhino, sadly poached to extinction.

Day 4 – South Luangwa to Lower Zambezi
Today you will be transferred to the Mfuwe Airport for your flight to Lower Zambezi. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative who will transfer you to your accommodation.
Chongwe is set at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers which wind through the forested
valley, creating a haven for wildlife and making the most of what Mother Nature provided. Wake up from
a peaceful nap to the sound of an elephant rubbing against the side of your tent as it lumbers past.
During your stay, enjoy an impressive variety of safari activities, created for the ultimate exploration of this magnificent African paradise. By land, you can enjoy game drives and walking safaris, or take to the rivers and explore with boat cruises, canoeing safaris and tiger-fishing. Back in camp, the wildlife hide is great for photography, especially rare nocturnal creatures.

Day 8 – Chongwe Camp to Royal Chundu
Today you will transfer by vehicle from the camp back to the Airstrip for your departure flight.
Upon arrival into Livingstone Airport a representative from Royal Chundu will greet you. You will be assisted to the Heli pad for your Scenic Helicopter transfer to Royal Chundu. What better way to see the magical winding Zambezi River and the crashing of the Victoria Falls than from above in a helicopter. Get up close to the Victoria Falls while flying through the gorge on your way to Royal Chundu’s helipad. This is without doubt one of the best ways to photograph the Falls.

Day 9 – Activities at Royal Chundu
From tranquil to thrilling, Royal Chundu offers a Zambezi river adventure to satisfy all. Whether you choose to simply lounge around the comfort of the lodge or want to explore more of what Zambia has to offer, the activities team is ready to arrange the perfect day for you. Enjoy daily sunset cruises, a village community visit, birding safaris or canoeing.

Day 10 – Depart Livingstone
A lodge representative will greet you in the lobby area at a predetermined time. You will be transferred by road to Livingstone Airport for your departing flight.
