Things To Do
Game Drives
The private Selinda Reserve is home to an array of iconic African wildlife, including leopards, lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, red lechwes, zebras, and giraffes. It is also a refuge for some uncommon species, such as African wild dogs, roans, and sables. For birders, the nearby African skimmer colony is a highlight, and from camp, hippos are visible in the Lagoon and elephants wander through regularly. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy open-vehicle photographic safari drives in the early morning and late afternoon/early evening.
Guided Walks
Guided walks by professional guides are an excellent opportunity to explore the surrounding area.
Boating
During your stay, take time to head out on the pontoon, HES Zib, and explore the floating islands dotted across the lagoon in front of the camp. Water activities are water-level-dependent at certain times of the year.
Fishing
Fly-fishing and rod/reel kit is available between March and December for those who want to try their cast at the local bream on a catch and release basis.
Gym and Spa
For those who like to keep their fitness levels up, enjoy working out in the equipped open-air gym. Or relax at the spa or on your deck as our therapists pamper your body and mind with a range of curated spa treatments and massages.
