Western MacDonnell Ranges

Pass the John Flynn Memorial (founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service). Stop at Simpsons Gap, and then continue to magical Standley Chasm. Travel to Ellery Creek Big Hole before arriving at Ormiston Gorge. Next is Glen Helen Gorge, a semi-permanent waterhole, where Black Footed Rock Wallaby are known to inhabit. Lunch is included and depending on the time of year a refreshing swim may be possible at one of the waterholes.
