Popular hotel activities include lounging by the picturesque solar heated infinity pool overlooking Lake Daylesford, a hit of tennis on the full-size court, casual basketball, a soak in the hot tub and sauna or a cocktail on one of the many waterfront terraces. There is a library full of books and games where you can also order bar snacks throughout the day, and in the cooler months a firepit by the lake shore provides a beautiful place to sit with a book and a good glass of local pinot noir. Hotel guests are invited to join an exclusive tour of the Dairy Flat Farm gardens every other day as well as the slow fermentation bake house and Dairy Flat Lodge – also operated by the Lake House Team.
The Farm inspires as much in The Spa at Lake House as it does in the Restaurant. Guests indulge in signature treatments which harness the healing powers of herbs and flowers in small batch luxurious and nourishing scrubs, balms and oils. Combined with hydrotherapy treatments which gently heat the natural mineral waters of the region for a deep soaking session designed to boost circulation and general health, therapeutic massage is also available, as are Ayervedic facials.
