Or take a wander through the pretty courtyard just beyond the lobby and enjoy the tranquility of seven spacious Garden Rooms finished in a restful simple country style.
Garden Rooms
The spacious garden rooms open on to a peaceful garden courtyard featuring white roses, a huge walnut tree and hedges of cherry and box. They feature simple locally crafted furniture, fresh landscapes by Martinborough artist Scott Tulloch and contemporary style bathrooms with walk in power showers. They are ideal for families as some interconnect and some are big enough for an extra bed. Each room can be made up as a king or twin.
Verandah Rooms
Select from the Georgian elegance of the Wilton Room or exotic chinoiserie in the Kershaw. These rooms are pure historic splendor with their aged wooden floors, luxurious Persian rugs, Chinese porcelain and deep old fashioned clawfoot tubs. All have queen size beds, some four poster. Throw open the French doors and sink into a rattan chair on the verandah or soak in the tub with a glass of bubbly specially chilled for your arrival.
