Mount Hagen Touring

This huge valley was discovered over 50 years ago. Evidence was found of an extensive agricultural system 5,000 years old and indications of man's presence 10,000 years ago. The touring of this region explores this picturesque valley with tea and coffee plantations interspersed with villages and homesteads, traditionally laid out gardens and dance grounds surrounded by feathery stands of bamboo. We will include a performance by the unusual and rather fearsome Mudmen of the Waghi Valley. Lunch is included during that day and you will be returned to your accommodation late afternoon.
