Wintjiri Wiru

Wintjiri Wiru, which in the local Pitjantjatjara language, means ‘beautiful view out to the horizon’. This breathtaking sound and light show brings to life the ancient Mala story of the Anangu people with the use of ground-breaking technology. Set on an open-air desert theater that boasts incredible views of Uluṟu and Kata Tjuta, once darkness falls the choreographed drones, lasers and projections illuminate the night sky. Set upon a desert dune in the spiritual heart of Australia, with spectacular views out to Uluṟu and Kata Tjuta, guests enjoy Australian wines and delicious cheeses, while marveling at the beauty of Uluṟu's silhouette in twilight as darkness falls. Guests will take a seat in the sustainably built theatre and watch a chapter of the ancestral Mala story light up the Australian desert skies with choreographed drones, lasers and projections. The Twilight Experience includes a 20-minute immersive light and sound show depicting a chapter of the Mala story, unlimited Australian wine, Australian cheese and dessert hamper featuring three types of cheese, crackers, fresh grapes, chutney, dip, and a slice infused with native flavors, and return transfers from the hotel.
